For more than fifteen years, I have been engaged in learning, teaching and communication across countries, cultures and institutions. Yet many of my most important lessons have taken place beyond higher learning places. They have emerged through travel, books and history; in museums, ancient places and unfamiliar cities; and through spontaneous conversations with people whose experiences have helped me see the world differently.

I have always been curious about what it means to be human: how culture shapes us, how knowledge travels, how people develop and what helps us flourish. Today, as AI transforms how we access knowledge and understand learning, these questions feel more important than ever.

The World Is My Classroom is where I bring these different strands together; educational psychology, higher education, culture, history, responsible AI and the deeply human experience of learning throughout life.
