Hello! I'm Louise
I’m an educational psychologist, educator and Knowledge Mentor. I work with knowledge experts who want to find their voice, trust what they know and use their expertise to empower others.
Throughout my career, I have witnessed how knowledge becomes powerful when we know how to carry it into the world in ways that help others grow, learn and develop agency.
Because teaching was never really just about giving people knowledge, was it?
It was about what happened because of that knowledge.
The confidence to ask a better question.
To use knowledge to create a better world and future.
The courage to make an informed choice.
but it was also about
The ability to navigate uncertainty without immediately looking for someone else to provide the answer.
And perhaps, most importantly, the growing sense that: I can think. I can learn. I can find my way.
That is human capability & potential. And in a world where information can be generated, explained and summarised in seconds, cultivating humans who can think, judge and act with knowledge may be one of the most important things an educator can do.
